I would have no problem paying that. If it is 8-9 cords, that would almost get me through 2 years. I couldn't fill my oil tank for 800.00.

No, we just bought 150 gallon for 650$. If we weren’t burning wood I’d probly burn through 3 tanks of oil.

We just got our summer fill of #2 oil. We burned 106 gallons of the goo last winter and it cost $430. If we didn't burn wood, the usage would be close to 600 gallons. YIKES

While I’d prefer snow, ice and cold. It was nice to be outside today to get next years wood put up. IMG_3483.jpeg

squelch, squirch. The foot of snow we got last week finally melted today. Made some progress. I scoffed at posts made yesterday about mosquitoes but the bloodsuckers were out in full force today!

If the logs where stacked tight with no room I would agree with you at 8 cords
Most guys that sell logs usually would say between 7 and 9 a lot depends on how the truck is loaded and hoy you cut, split and stack the wood

Still soggy but, the sun is out and don’t have to deal with skeeters today. Gonna get after it.
