    Thanks. It is a pear. I believe they're "Callery" pears. They have thorns on them. From what I understand they're the offspring of Bradford and other ornamental pears. If the "fruits" from them sprout that's what grows. They revert back to their wild form.

    bogieb might know what these are. I thought they were Japanese Anemone but it is too early in the year for them.
