Wife calls me Saturday from a garage sale.
“would you like a $3 axe?”
I said what’s it look like?
She said “too late I already bought it bye” click

She whips in with her $3 axe and it’s a genuine Norlund Hudson Bay with a new handle.
I hope it gets along with my Norlund double bit. I think it will.

As long as she wasn't planning on using it on you!

Nice find. What's it really worth in that condition?

About $3? And the axe old Jack used in your vid is a Fireman’s Axe. They usually are very high quality steel but poor condition because of all the car doors that were opened using them!
